Seeing with fresh eyes means to look at something familiar as if you have never seen it before.
We all should know what our own priorities are. We should take some time to decompress from the outside world, from work, politics, and our culture as a whole, and look inside ourselves. When we have identified our own priorities, we can see our world, our nation, our culture, and our fellow citizens with fresh eyes. Maybe then we can bring a fresh outlook, and new solutions, to the issues that face us.
